Amazon Customer – People always walk up to my dog bc she ‘looks friendly’ but she scares easily I even have a muzzle on her but hopefully with the vest more people stay away from her. Looks heavy but being my dog is black and brown it keeps her cooler without the hot FL sun hitting her back.
Ryan – Such a better design then most out there. Allows for adequate room for my dogs neck and shoulders. Doesn’t interfere with him laying down, even in tight spaces like the car. Straps provided are plenty enough to utilize with larger dog then mine.Update!! We have now had this harness for a while. Still love it. Durable, washable, and a great fit. We’ve pretty much gone everywhere, airlines, buses, and even boats. Provides decent cover and protection. We only switch it out due to heat or if he needs a coat to compensate for wind.
Charlotte – I would like to start this off with a thank you! Quick shipping and delivering. I got a size medium black. This vest for me was intended for being the first vest my 11 week old German Shepherd/Belgian Malamute mix puppy who’s going into training. At first I was worryed that it wouldn’t be able to fit for the straps but lucky it did! Lots of room for growing. It is easy to take off and I just the front shoulder strap , I like how it has a cover in front so you can easily put the excess strap piece in it. It makes it look very professional. The under the belly strap is also easy to tighten and loosen along with having a Velcro wrap to fold excess strap into place for a clean look. The straps stay in place and are comfortable for the dog. The Velcro surrounding the vest is nice with no lose strings. Over all this vest is very professional. This vest is not only great for an every day pet but for also service animals and service animals in training I would highly recommend this vest to everyone.This vest includes the ID holder but I did not know it comes to a surprise to me a good surprise that you are able to move the ID around in different spots. Ada cards fit, ID , credit card ect fits.Update: he’s now 12 weeks vest still in great shape brand new still. The pic above is he is at a down stay at Walmart during a training sessionUpdate: vest still in shape like brand new:) many room for patches great.
Aaron R States – Best harness I’ve ever had for my pup. Definitely get the Apollo cape and harness combo. The cape removes super easy so I can put it on when in airports and other places where professional service animal identification makes things easier. The harness is great for day to day and is the easiest harness to put on my dog that I’ve ever had. It also weighs way less than harnesses with metal buckles. Plenty of Velcro for service dog patches and if you have a large dog this harness is a must. I use half the strength compared to other harnesses for getting him in and out of lifted SUV’s. Durable, well made, and ergonomically ideal for large breeds. Dinging one star on comfort because there’s only one velvety like chaffing guard but two straps. Would like to see these chaffing guards significantly longer too since they always shift to one side. Bottom line: I love this harness!
Bella – I like this as a starter vest for a growing puppy! I love all the velcro and the pockets and his adjustable it is. I don’t love that it seems uncomfortable for my service dog (6 months old) so I’ve moved on to a lighter vest. My dog would always scratch at the girth strap, I think it’s set a little far back. The vest will also slide slightly to the left or right and you have to readjust it a lot. But seriously great for the price!
Shauna Crisler – Best SD harness I’ve ever had!! My SDs vest broke in the airport on the way to my best friends wedding. I literally ordered this on the plane and hoped it would work for me. Boy did it!!! Every feature is fantastic from the inline zippers to the sturdy D rings for my momentum pull hard handle. My only complaint/thing I would improve is adding the front and back handles the other one Tigris tactical style harnesses have. They were very useful to me as counter balance and the rear one for keeping my handle strait on his back when not in use. My last one Tigris lasted 4 years and only the part I jerry rigged to attach my momentum handle broke on it. Here’s to more years with this one since it is designed to attach my handle to. Alice – The quality is very good of this best. I love how there are not tons of straps everywhere and it only goes around the chest and bottom of the kids (my dogs) the product is extremely well made only downfall is I need a small my APBT is a runt of the litternso she has a small build and the medium was two big so it falls to the side. However my other APBT the medium fits perfect.
Dixie Stepisnik –I love this vest so much! It makes my little man look so handsome! My little man is a German Shepherd/Mastiff mix and I have had a hard time finding vest that I like on him or that fit him just right ! The only issue I had is the delivery they did not leave it outside my door on the day I was supposed to get it then when they delivered it the next day they left it out side my door and did not knock at all after the day before telling me there was no secure location to put it very annoyed with that . other then that the product is amazing !
Anna – I love this vest but it has a huge deal breaker. Why is there no place to hook a leash. Am I doing something wrong? Bc what’s the point of no pull feature if there’s no d ring to put a leash. All I see in the review is people using a neck collar. Either I’m being stupid or I don’t get it bc there is no d ring and it has to be used as just a vest. Unless you attach it to additional service dog harness or use a neck collar which I hate.
